Introduction to the Project
As part of the City Walk Leeds development, we were appointed to install a bespoke curved automatic entrance door. The aim was to provide an entrance that not only complemented the building’s modern design but also delivered reliable, accessible access for everyone using the building.
Our engineers worked closely with the site team to ensure the installation was completed safely, on programme, and to the high standard expected on a development of this scale.
Challenges
Installing a curved automatic entrance door requires a greater level of accuracy than a standard door system. Every element, from the curved glazing to the door operator, had to be installed and aligned precisely to ensure smooth operation.
Working within a live construction programme also meant coordinating with other trades and completing the installation at the right stage of the build, while maintaining safety and minimising delays.
Thanks to careful planning and the experience of our installation team, the project was completed successfully and handed over ready for use.
