Silkstream in West Hendon is a remarkable new neighbourhood developed by St. George and Berkeley Group that combines sustainability with modern living. Surrounded by green spaces and a vibrant community, it offers easy access to top-rated schools, local shops, cafés, and restaurants. With excellent transport links, including Hendon Station, Brent Cross West Station (Thameslink), and Hendon Central Station (Northern Line), as well as major roadways like the M1, A5, and North Circular, residents are perfectly connected to London and beyond.
We were proud to collaborate with APW Glazing, Makower Architects, and Hutchinson & Partner on this project. Our role involved supplying and installing seven heavy-duty, thermally broken 2021+ sliding door systems, complete with full-height pocket safety screens for enhanced protection, and five Horton 4 100+ heavy-duty swing door automations.
These automated door solutions are designed for high-traffic environments, offering seamless operation and durability. The swing door operators, compact yet powerful, handle large, heavy doors with ease, ensuring smooth and safe movement for people and goods. The thermally broken sliding doors add an energy-efficient touch, aligning perfectly with Silkstream’s sustainable vision.
This project highlights our dedication to providing innovative, reliable, and accessible solutions that enhance both functionality and safety in modern developments.
