Established in the UK for more than 30 years

Founded in 1989 and with over thirty years of industry experience, we are a Midlands-based supplier, manufacturer, and installer of automatic entrance systems and specialist ICU doors.

But the origin of Horton Automatics predates this, with Dee Horton and Lew Hewitt inventing the first automatic sliding door in 1954, going on to co-found Horton Automatics Inc in 1960 and placing the first commercial sliding automatic door onto the market in 1960 and as they say, the rest is history.
